The Competition

This Little Guy is Getting all My Attention!
OK, I understand how cute he is.  He's adorable.  But enough is enough!  He's monopolizing my family's time and getting all the attention that used to be mine!

Those are MY boys!!!!
Mom brought them to the farm today just to see me.  I know she did.  I called and called, but those guys spent their time with Pumpkin.
He Gave them Smooches

He Nuzzled Them

He Frolicked.  I Know How to Frolic.

But Just You Wait.  He'll Grow Up Soon.  They All Do.

And I'll Still be Gorgeous.

Thanksgiving Pie

I was happy to see mom and dad come to the farm today.  It's Thanksgiving, and there were lots of people running around earlier, but everyone went into the big house a few hours ago, and we goats were left to ourselves; then it snowed, and we HATE to get our hair wet!  So there wasn't much to do but snooze and chew, until mom came.

Then, I got a bite of pumpkin pie!  Mom made these little pies just big enough for a bite, and she brought one just for me.  Yum!  I ate mine up in a flash!  That's dad giving it to me; he wears a beret to keep his head warm.  He doesn't have much fur, like us.  Mom does, though.

They only stayed long enough to feed us all and change our water, because they're going to do some cooking tonight, but I was sure happy for that pie!  Happy Thanksgiving!

My Winter Project

Kid Stuff
Just a few weeks ago (it seems like forever!), mom took me to visit the new love of my life.  His name is Jolt Cola, and he's sooooo handsome.  Mom wanted us to make a beautiful Nubian baby for her to love.  She told Kathy (the owner of the farm where I live) that she'd be especially happy if I had a little boy, because then he could live on the farm and make more beautiful half-Nubian babies with all the other girls. Of course, if I had a little girl, she'd be a beautiful Nubian Princess, just like me.  Anyway, mom arranged a date, and took me back to Lilac Corners, where I was born, to meet Jolt.

Lilac Corners Jolt Cola
Isn't he handsome?  I got to spend three whole weeks with Jolt, and when mom came to pick me up, she said I smelled just like him.  I love the way he smells, so I took that as a compliment.  His person Mandy said she hadn't see us getting frisky together, but mom thinks we did.  I'm not telling!  Mom needs a surprise every now and then! Last year, I surprised her real good by not getting bred by Herve or George, even though they're both very handsome and studly Toggenbergs.  I was saving myself for Jolt, so I took a year off while she figured it out. We Princesses can do that.

Dad and I had a "talk" on the way home.  How embarassing!
I got to ride in the truck's cab on the way home from Lilac Corners, and mom said she'd have to open the windows.  I'm sure she just wanted me to enjoy the night air.  She's so thoughtful.

So you see, I might have a little project to work on between now and March or early April.  I'll keep you posted!  In the meantime, Daisy finished up a little project of her own.  Daisy didn't get to spend any time with a handsome fella beforehand though; she and Miss Kathy cooked this one up themselves.  We call him "Pumpkin", because he was born right around Halloween.  He thinks he's a goat; I don't have the heart to burst his bubble.  Maybe I'll let him down easy when he's a little older.

He's no Nubian, but he's pretty cute, isn't he?

Welcome to the Funny Farm!

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Faith, and I'm a Nubian Princess.  I share my kingdom with a ragtag herd of other goats, a few cows, some horses and ponies, a pot-bellied pig named Alfie, two dogs, a dozen or so cats, a gazillion chickens and ducks, some sheep...you get the picture. None of them are as beautiful or opinionated as me. I don't let that bother me, though; I use my charming personality and beautiful singing voice to assert myself as the true diva that I am.

I'll be sharing my daily adventures with you, dear reader, as my journey unfolds.  Hold on to your hats...it might be a wild ride!

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!
