Kid Stuff |
Just a few weeks ago (it seems like forever!), mom took me to visit the new love of my life. His name is Jolt Cola, and he's sooooo handsome. Mom wanted us to make a beautiful Nubian baby for her to love. She told Kathy (the owner of the farm where I live) that she'd be especially happy if I had a little boy, because then he could live on the farm and make more beautiful half-Nubian babies with all the other girls. Of course, if I had a little girl, she'd be a beautiful Nubian Princess, just like me. Anyway, mom arranged a date, and took me back to Lilac Corners, where I was born, to meet Jolt.

Lilac Corners Jolt Cola |
Isn't he handsome? I got to spend three whole weeks with Jolt, and when mom came to pick me up, she said I smelled just like him. I love the way he smells, so I took that as a compliment. His person Mandy said she hadn't see us getting frisky together, but mom thinks we did. I'm not telling! Mom needs a surprise every now and then! Last year, I surprised her real good by not getting bred by Herve or George, even though they're both very handsome and studly Toggenbergs. I was saving myself for Jolt, so I took a year off while she figured it out. We Princesses can do that.

Dad and I had a "talk" on the way home. How embarassing! |
I got to ride in the truck's cab on the way home from Lilac Corners, and mom said she'd have to open the windows. I'm sure she just wanted me to enjoy the night air. She's so thoughtful.
So you see, I might have a little project to work on between now and March or early April. I'll keep you posted! In the meantime, Daisy finished up a little project of her own. Daisy didn't get to spend any time with a handsome fella beforehand though; she and Miss Kathy cooked this one up themselves. We call him "Pumpkin", because he was born right around Halloween. He thinks he's a goat; I don't have the heart to burst his bubble. Maybe I'll let him down easy when he's a little older.

He's no Nubian, but he's pretty cute, isn't he? |
